Experience the Difference with Starlink
Starlink offers impressive download speeds ranging from 100Mbps to 300Mbps on average, with some users even reaching over 300Mbps to 400Mbps, depending on their location, time of day and weather. Upload speeds typically range between 5Mbps and 35Mbps. These speeds are influenced by your geographic area and the number of users connected to the same satellite.
From our installations, we’ve observed that areas with minimal obstructions often experience download speeds exceeding 300Mbps, with upload speeds between 15Mbps and 30Mbps. A key advantage is the significantly reduced latency, averaging 20ms to 50ms—far better than NBN Satellite or 4G/5G—resulting in a smoother, more responsive internet experience.
While speeds may vary slightly from day to day, Starlink consistently delivers reliable performance without the drastic fluctuations often seen with NBN connections.
Our customers have shared numerous benefits from their Starlink installations, including:
- Reliable internet for working from home
- Improved quality for video conferencing on Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams
- Lag-free streaming of Netflix and other services
- Stable connectivity for kids’ tablets, keeping them in touch with friends
Whether at home, your business, or a weekend getaway, Starlink has proven to be a decision our customers never regret.
Please note that this speeds are referring to a Standard Generation Kit. A Starlink Mini is about 50% slow than the above speeds, however, still perfectly capable for on the go internet.Starlink Speed in my area
The Starlink speeds can vary from location to location, but overall, they are impressively consistent. On average, Starlink offers download speeds ranging from 100Mbps to 300Mbps, with some users experiencing speeds even exceeding 300Mbps to 400Mbps. Upload speeds typically range from 5Mbps to 35Mbps, depending on your location, the time of day, and weather conditions.
From our installations, we’ve noticed that areas with minimal obstructions tend to achieve the best performance, often exceeding 300Mbps for downloads and 15Mbps to 30Mbps for uploads. A major advantage is the low latency, which averages 20ms to 50ms, offering a much smoother and more responsive experience compared to NBN Satellite or 4G/5G.
Whether you’re working from home, streaming your favourite shows, or staying connected during a weekend getaway, Starlink has proven to be a reliable choice for our customers. For reference, these speeds are based on the Standard Generation Kit. The Starlink Mini typically delivers about 50% of these speeds but is still an excellent option for portable, on-the-go internet.
