Why Is WiFi So Difficult Inside Metal Sheds?
Metal sheds can be particularly challenging environments for wireless networking.
Colorbond walls, metal roofing and foil-backed insulation can significantly reduce WiFi signals. A strong wireless signal outside the shed does not necessarily mean you will have reliable coverage inside.
That's why we generally recommend getting the network connection to the building first, then distributing WiFi locally.
Establish a suitable network connection between the buildings, then install a dedicated indoor access point to provide coverage throughout the shed. Where outdoor coverage is also required, we can incorporate outdoor WiFi access points into the design.
