Can you make phone calls with Starlink?

Yes, Starlink does support WiFi calling. WiFi calling enables you to make and receive calls over a WiFi connection instead of relying on a cellular network. With Starlink’s high-speed internet provided via satellite, you can use WiFi calling as long as your mobile carrier supports the feature and your device is compatible.

Additionally, if you find yourself in an area with poor or no cell coverage, Starlink can still provide service, ensuring that you stay connected for calls and internet usage even in remote locations.

To use WiFi calling with Starlink, you need to:

1. Ensure your device supports WiFi calling: Most of the latest smartphones support WiFi calling.
2. Enable WiFi calling on your device: This is usually found in the settings under the cellular or network settings menu.
3. Connect to your Starlink network: Make sure your device is connected to your Starlink WiFi.

Once you complete these steps, you should be able to make and receive calls over any Starlink connection. Call quality will depend on the strength and stability of your Starlink internet connection, if there is high latency calls may drop out.

No additional apps are required, just connect to your Starlink WiFi Connection and away you go.

Note - As long as your Telco and Device support WiFi Calling, this will work.
